I am a California native, a husband, a father and a customer experience leader. This blog is a collection of reflections on my experiences dating back during my journey through South America and revived as I became a father.
There are many experiences beyond these that have created who I am – and even more that shape my world view. I view my life as an intricate web of these experiences and I strive to live a story I’d want to read. I’m not egocentric enough to pretend that is always true – there are the truly boring days that can be roughly described as “Eric went to work” but as a whole, I want my life to be worth it – a good story. The majority of things I write, I write for myself. These are all things that I am discovering about the world and myself along this journey. All opinions expressed are my own.
My latest reflections:
- a series on leading in crisis: leading yourself in crisis, compassion in crisis, finding true north in crisis and communicating in crisis.
- a guide to talking to family
- On being a father (some advice)
- Home
- Being Present
